The Rev. Erik R. Trovall, minister

The Rev. Erik R. Trovall STS came to Peace in August of 2006 from the interior of British Columbia where he served as pastor of Lutheran Church of the Resurrection, Revelstoke and Christ the King Lutheran Church, Nakusp (1997-2006).  Erik was born and raised in Clearwater, MN, receiving baptism and affirming his baptism at Trinity Lutheran Church, Clear Lake, MN.  Before his ordination into the Ministry on 24 August 1997, Pr. Trovall earned his A.A at Bethany Lutheran College (Mankato, MN) in 1990 and a B.A. at St. John’s University in Collegeville, MN in 1992.  He holds a M. Div. from Concordia Lutheran Theological Seminary in St. Catharines, ON (Brock University).  It was during his seminary studies that he studied at Concordia Theological Seminary, Ft. Wayne, IN and Westfield House, Cambridge University (UK).  He served his vicarage (internship) at Zion Lutheran Church, Yorkton, SK. In 2013, he participated in a ministerial exchange to the Lutheran Church of Australia, with Hamilton Lutheran Parish in Hamilton, VIC.
